Indulging in the Art of Pizza: A Photographer's Perspective

As a food photographer based in Johannesburg, my journey often leads me to capture the essence of culinary delights that stir the senses. Collaborating with talented food stylist Claire Ferrandi in her studio is always a win-win!

One of my personal favourites is sourdough pizza, although I haven't yet ventured into making my own sourdough—it's quite a process! Fortunately, frozen sourdough pizza bases are readily available nowadays, allowing me to customize toppings and enjoy a delicious pizza night at home. While it may not be the same as homemade sourdough, it's a delightful alternative for now.

Pizza and Wine: A Perfect Pairing

Tonight seems like the perfect occasion to indulge in pizza and wine! Whether you prefer classic margherita, loaded with toppings, or something more adventurous like prosciutto and rocket, pizza offers endless possibilities for flavours and combinations.

 Conclusion: Celebrating Culinary Adventures

As a food photographer in Johannesburg, each project is an opportunity to celebrate the artistry of food and share it with others. While I may not have mastered sourdough pizza-making just yet, exploring different culinary experiences continues to inspire my work. Join me on this journey of flavour and creativity, and let's toast to the joys of good food and memorable moments shared around the table.

Cheers to pizza nights and the endless discoveries yet to come!
